The Euskadi-Basque Country Delegation in France hosted an event on the historical and contemporary connection between Basque and French fashion, with the participation of professionals from the sector A photography exhibition showed how Balenciaga and Rabanne’s legacy is part of the history of fashion Last Thursday 27 March, the Euskadi-Basque Country Delegation in France hosted The Basque Contribution to French Fashion, an event underlining the Basque influence on the Paris fashion industry and the especially the historic interaction between Biarritz and Paris. The event, organised in collaboration with members of the Basque diaspora working in the fashion industry in the French capital and Kutxa Fundazioa, brought together around one hundred attendees, mostly professionals from the fashion industry in France.
