2016.eko maiatzak 03

Euskal baleazaleen Red Bayko portuan (Labrador, Kanada) aitzindari haien omenez jolasak, jarduerak eta Joe Goudiek Interpretazio Zentroan eskainiko duen tokiko kulturari buruzko hitzaldi bat antolatu dituzte ekainaren 21erako. Kanadako eguna ospatuko dute uztailaren 1ean, eta 16an, Kanadako Natura Parkeen egunean, bisita gidatuak egingo dira Red Bayn eta XVI. mendean bertan bizi ziren baleazaleen bizimodua irudikatuko dute.

Bertako herritarrak duela ia bostehun urte bezala jantziko dira, eta garai bateko istorioak kontatuko dituzte, baleazaleen eguneroko bizimodua eta lanak –baleei koipeak eta olioak ateratzeko lantegietan– irudikatuta. Bertaratzen direnek, halaber, balea-arrantzaren aztarnategi arkeologikoak ikusiko dituzte –hondoratutako baleontziak daude– eta museo arkeologikoa nahiz euskal marinelak lurperatuta dauden Saddle uharteko hilerria bisitatuko dituzte.
