As Secretary-General I am responsible for planning and promoting the Basque Government’s External Action and coordinating the delegations. My basic missions consist of offering support and advice to the Government in matters of external action; organising the missions of foreign dignitaries in the Basque Country and of the Basque authorities abroad as well as developing cross-border and inter-regional cooperation relations. Maintaining the Basque Government relations with international organisations and consular corps is also part of my everyday work.
