The Deputy Ministry of the Treasury is responsible for the competences attributed to the Basque Government in the area of the Economic Agreement, State Quota and contributions from the Historical Territories, assessment of powers or services subject to transfer, as well as determination and management of financial flows in relation to the financing of Social Security, coordination of financial activity with other Public Administrations, fiscal harmonisation, coordination and collaboration, tax administration and economic-administrative claims, as well as in matters of assets and in the general and transversal aspects of public procurement.
