The Directorate of Scientific policy is in charge or promoting and coordinating the theoretical and applied research programs, designing the necessary tools for the correct execution of the research plans, promote the selection and training programs for research personnel and the infrastructure generation programs in the university and scientific field. We promote measures and actions in order to place the Basque scientific system in the parameters of excellence required in the European Research Area, which will allow the Basque Country to be able to respond to the challenges that arise both locally and internationally.
