La Dirección que encabezo se ocupa de promover un mayor acercamiento a los vascos y vascas expandidos por el mundo. Para ello establecemos conexiones con esa Comunidad Vasca en el Exterior y configuramos fórmulas de conocimiento y participación de la misma en la vida de Euskadi. Lo hacemos a través de programas que fomentan la cooperación económica, social, cultural, mediática, de asistencia y apoyo, con los colectivos vascos diseminados por todo el mundo, muchos de los cuales se agrupan en los Centros Vascos-Euskal Etxeak.

Gaztemundu 2024

Gaztemundu 2024 commenced on Sunday 1 December. The focus of this year's programme is on dantza classes. The programme is being delivered to a cohort of fifteen young people, aged between 20 and 35. The euskal etxeak[1] coming from Argentina, Uruguay and the United States. They are 11 females and four males. The majority are from Argentina. They are training in the dantzak (traditional dances) of all the Euskal Herria (Basque Country) territories. During the initial seven-day period, spanning 1 to 8 December, the group engaged in dantza practice in the morning and visited the capitals of the respective territories in the afternoon. The initial destinations were Vitoria-Gasteiz, Donostialdea, Bilbo (Bilbao) and Arabako Errioxa (Rioja Alavesa).
