The Basque Government reaffirms its commitment to continue working on the prevention of violence against women with an emphasis on youth so that future generations become the generation of equality

The Minister Nerea Melgosa has given an account of the institutional declaration approved today in the Governing Council meeting on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Gender Violence against women. The spokesperson for the Basque Government and Minister for Culture and Language Policy, Bingen Zupiria, appeared at the usual press conference after the Governing Council meeting, together with the Minister for Planning, Housing and Transport, Iñaki Arriola, the Minister for Equality, Justice and Social Policies, Nerea Melgosa and the Minister for Health, Gotzone Sagardui.
