We are responsible for the powers and positions arising from the Basque Economic Agreement, the State Quota and Contributions from the Historical Regions, as well as the powers harmonisation, coordination and collaboration in terms of tax, providing technical and administrative support to the Basque Economic Agreement Joint Commission, the Basque Finance Council, and the Tax Coordination Body. We also assess the powers and/or services subject to transfer.

We oversee the Regional Community’s Tax Administration and the economic-administrative claims system through the bodies established for this purpose.

In terms of property, we have propriety rights over the property and property rights of the Basque Country, which is owned, managed, administered and operated by the Regional Community Administration, in accordance with the consolidated text of the Basque Country Property Law. We develop and coordinate the recruitment system in this area and support the Basque Regional Community’s Public Recruitment Board.
