La Economía Social constituye un pilar fundamental de nuestra economía y sin duda una seña de identidad del tejido productivo vasco, de ahí que nos corresponda impulsar iniciativas tendentes a desarrollar ese entramado económico.
En esa línea de trabajo, promocionamos la participación de los trabajadores y las trabajadoras en las empresas de Economía Social, y difundimos la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial y la economía solidaria, entre otras iniciativas. Además ejercemos la función inspectora e instruimos expedientes sancionadores en materia de cooperativas, y gestionamos el Registro de Cooperativas de Euskadi.

The meeting with the Department of Economy, Labour and Employment is part of the European strategy to strengthen the capacity of regional administrations in designing innovative policies. It will serve to share policies, legislation and successful experiences in the field of labour inclusion and cooperativism.
