We are responsible for the promotion, development and management of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food, and policies related to Rural, Coastal and Forest Development to improve the strategic sector in the Basque Country.

The Basque primary and food sector stands out for the diversity, wealth and quality of its products, and our promotion and defence of this quality and guarantee is our unique feature in our work as a whole. We achieve this by working in conjunction with Innovation, Tourism and Trade, implementing actions involving a common interest such as contributions to the Innovation, Science and Technology Plan and our participation at Fitur [international tourism fair].
Our objectives include improving the marketing of products as well as ensuring its presence on a global scale.

We implement the aid, coordination measures and the application of European Union legislation, acting as representatives in defence of the interests of people working in our sector.
