The Department of Public Governance and Self-Government participates in the ‘Open Source Summit Europe’ on free software
- Organised by the Linux Foundation, the summit will take place in Bilbao between Tuesday and Thursday and will bring together industry specialists
- EJIE, the Basque Government's IT company, will present the components used in the Itzuli project on container platforms based on free software
The Department of Public Governance and Self-Government of the Basque Government will take part in the ‘Open Source Summit Europe’, on free software, to be held this week at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao. The event, organized by Linux Foundation, will bring together a significant number of technical specialists in the sector who will share information and knowledge.
Among the participants will be representatives from the Basque Government’s IT company, EJIE, which will present the components used in the Itzuli project on container platforms based on free software. The presentation will take place on Wednesday, at 12.20 pm, and will serve to explain the technical intricacies used for the operation of the neural translator.
‘Open Source Summit’ is an international benchmark in the free software sector and at European level this year it has chosen to bring its conferences to Bilbao. They cover topics related to the Linux operating system, the world of containers, artificial intelligence and the cloud. The products made by the foundation can be used by any organisation.
