San Sebastian to host the international meeting of travel bloggers, TBEX Europe 2024

San Sebastian will host TBEX Europe 2024. This forum is the largest international congress of the travel blogging community. This event, which was born in 2009 in the United States, currently brings together 700 of the best international travel and lifestyle writers. In addition, the TBEX Congress organises workshops and working sessions on different topics such as storytelling, creative writing, specialised photography, video creation, podcasting, SEO, etc.

This year the forum was held in Kalamata, Greece and ended with an official ceremony in which the director of Basquetour, Daniel Solana, picked up the baton for San Sebastian to be the next venue for TBEX, in the 2024 edition.

The aim of the Basque Tourism Agency at this congress was twofold. On the one hand, it has identified trends in the world of bloggers and brand content to improve the visibility and notoriety of the Basque Country brand in target markets, and on the other, it has made contacts for future collaborations in the edition and dissemination of destination content in a fresh and natural way that encourages visitors to visit the destination. The world of travel bloggers offers increasing opportunities to attract segmented offers.

TBEX is an opportunity for networking and to learn about success stories from the world of social media, influencers and marketing. Likewise, during the event in 2024, hundreds of content about the Basque Country will be generated in the different channels, which will provide an exceptional marketing campaign for our destination.
