Osakidetza launches the largest Public Employment Offer in its history
The spokesperson for the Basque Government and Minister for Culture and Language Policy, Bingen Zupiria, appeared at the usual press conference after the Governing Council meeting, together with the Minister for Health, Gotzone Sagardui, who presented the largest Public Employment Offer in Osakidetza.
The 2020, 2021 and 2022 OPE replacement tests and the 2021 stabilization tests will be held between the months of July and November of this year, distributed between the UPV/EHU campus of Vitoria-Gasteiz and the Barakaldo BEC. In this new Public Job Offer, Osakidetza puts on the table a total of 7,639 places, divided into 110 different professional categories, which makes it the largest process of stabilization and consolidation of public employment in the history of Osakidetza.
The Minister of Health, Gotzone Sagardui, highlighted the effort of the Basque Government, which has committed itself to stabilizing 4,000 places in this four-year period and, despite the pandemic, with this Public Job Offer and the previous one of 2018-2019 - currently in the merit assessment phase - will reach 11,000 places, which represents a third of Osakidetza's staff. To be precise, the call responds to one of the main challenges included in the Strategic Framework 2020-2024 of the Department led by Sagardui: the commitment to job consolidation, with measures aimed at increasing the workforce, to provide greater job stability to Osakidetza's staff.
