The Basque Country will exchange knowledge with Scotland for the management of social services and inclusive employment

The Minister (Sailburu in basque language) of Employment and Social Policies of the Basque Government, Beatriz Artolazabal, will hold a meeting tomorrow with Derek MacKay, Vice President and Minister Secretary General of the Scottish Government for Finance, Economy and Employment and with Jamie Hepburn, Minister of Enterprise, Employment and Skills of Scotland. Meetings to address, various initiatives related to employment management, employability programs, youth and female employment and the so-called "non-advanced vocational skills".


In addition, within the improvement developed by Lanbide, Artolazabal will meet Skills Development Scotland, an agency of the Scottish Government dedicated to improving employability and a project that takes place in St. James (Edinburgh) to employ people with difficulties of labor insertion in a large regeneration and urban transformation initiative.


In a few days, the president of the French department of the Gironde, Jean-Luc Gleyze, along with other officials and technical heads of the Social Policy and inclusive employment areas of Nueva Aquitania, will visit various social resources of the Basque Country (Euskadi) with Minister Artolazabal.
