The Minister of Employment and Social Policies of the Basque Government, Beatriz Artolazabal, considers that "in order to overcome the double poverty of women victims of gender violence, the collaboration of the administrations, society and companies is necessary. Companies are basic agents that generate job opportunities and can offer access to the labor market and provide an opportunity for change in the lives of these women".
Artolazabal participated this morning in Oñati, Gipuzkoa, in the workshop organized by the University of Deusto and the International Institute of Legal Sociology "Overcoming the double poverty of women victims of gender violence, Innovation and opportunities for employment". Also participating were the dean Gema Tomas, Noé Cornago, scientific director of the IISJ, Leire Kortabarria, Jesús Riaño, director of Deusto University, Katherina Miller and Asunción Ventura, among others.
