The Minister of Employment and Social Policies of the Basque Government, Beatriz Artolazabal, believes that "the positive steps being taken by Lanbide, vocational training centers, universities and, above all, our youth, will be able to offer professional profiles related to the technology and robotization demanded by Basque companies ".
Beatriz Artolazabal inaugurated this morning the third edition of Workinn, employment and industrial training Forum, at the BEC fairground in Barakaldo. The Vice Minister of Employment and Youth, Marcos Muro, the general director of Lanbide Borja Belandia, the director of Employment and Inclusion Amaia Arteaga and the director of Youth of the Basque Government Ander Añibarro participated in the opening.
"This meeting is an opportunity for Companies and for the Administration. The machine tool sector stands out for its tractor role in employment in the Basque Country. In 2017, the cluster of advanced and digital manufacturing already integrated 480 companies, with a turnover of more than 2,500 million euros and more than 12,000 jobs" has indicated Artolazabal.
