Gaztemundu 2018 is open, dedicated to Basque dances, from September 1 to 16 in Vitoria - Gasteiz
The General Secretariat for Foreign Affairs of the Basque Government has called the Gaztemundu program 2018. This year this formative program is dedicated to Basque Dances (“Euskal Dantza”), it will be based in Vitoria-Gasteiz and 15 posts are available. This year's edition “is aimed at dancers and group directors in the Basque Diaspora, so that this training can then be beneficial for the Basque Clubs and Basque Communities abroad”, has said the Director for the Basque Community Abroad Gorka Álvarez Aranburu.
The course will be coordinated by expert dancer and professor Oier Araolaza. The Official Bulletin of the Basque Country has published the advertisement. The dead line for submission of original presentations is June 18. Applicants should submit a video recording, of a minimum of three minutes long and of good quality, that shows them teaching a traditional dance class.
