Beatriz Artolazabal, the Minister for Employment and Social Policies of the Basque Government, considers that "the sixty years of the Rome treaties are six decades of achievement and progress for the countries and regions of Europe and an excellent time to define a future for the Union with a greater presence and activity of those who seek greater and better employment, a positive step for our Youth and, ultimately, a progress towards the welfare of those who make up this great project. "
"In the beginning the states, but now countries and regions such as the Basque Country, Bavaria, Catalonia, Wales, or Scotland, have already positioned themselves as excellent managers of this European model of well-being and solidarity proposed by the Commission" has indicated Beatriz Artolazabal.
According to the Sailburu of Employment and Social Policies of the Basque Government "our Youth will be part of this new Union of this XXI century and the community policies in employment, family, third social sector and mobility will define the next decades and times of the Union".
