The Basque Government Deputy Minister for the Transports, Antonio Aiz, will participate on 7th June in the Autonomous Communities gathering at the SIL, Barcelona International Logistics Exhibition, where she will explain the intermodal goods transport and international connections offered by the Basque Government on the European Atlantic corridor.
The Basque Country will be represented at the SIL by the Basque Country Logistics stand with participation of the Ports of Bilbao and Pasajes, the Basque Chambers of Commerce, logistics platforms, the Basque Government and transport companies and organisations wishing to establish contacts in the sector.
The 18th edition, SIL 2016, will run from 7th-9th June in Pavilion 8 at the Montjuic-Plaza España Fira de Barcelona centre and will focus on intelligent logistics, new technologies and innovation as a meeting point between all logistics activity in Southern Europe, the Mediterranean and Ibero-America and logistics sector professionals, in a framework for business, networking and knowledge.
With seventeen editions behind it, today the SIL is an international reference in the field of logistics and transport. Last year it saw the participation of 45% of international firms and a total of 550 companies.
