Vitoria-Gasteiz will become the international epicenter of Bovine Medicine starting May 28

• 800 bovine medicine specialists will meet at the Europa Palace in the capital of Araba, organized by the Association of Bovine Medicine Specialists (ANEMBE).

Juan Carlos González, president of the Association of Bovine Medicine Specialists (ANEMBE), will open the 27th International Congress of Bovine Medicine, which will take place from May 28 to 30 at the Europa Congress Palace in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Amaia Barredo, Regional Minister of Food, Rural Development, Agriculture, and Fisheries of the Basque Government, will attend the opening.

The meeting will feature presentations and oral presentations in three parallel rooms over the three days, with the participation of professors from various foreign and spanish universities and field veterinarians, highly prestigious and internationally recognized professionals. 800 national and international congress participants and speakers will participate, which, combined with the trade show staff and accompanying persons, represents more than 1,000 attendees. This will make Vitoria-Gasteiz the epicentre of global buiatrics, or the branch of veterinary medicine specializing in everything related to bovines and ruminants.

The Association of Specialists in Bovine Medicine (ANEMBE), chaired by Juan Carlos González, has brought together veterinary professionals since 1990. It includes more than 1,100 professionals dedicated to veterinary medicine in its various aspects, including research, teaching, outreach, and field clinical practice.

Its fundamental objectives are to train and update its members' knowledge and thereby collaborate in the dissemination and introduction of scientific advances and new production techniques to the livestock sector.

Awards

The awards for the best scientific papers of the 27th International Congress of Bovine Medicine will be presented at the conference in the oral presentation section of the Vitoria-Gasteiz conference. When evaluating the papers, consideration will be given to their scientific rigor, work invested, practical application, relevance and originality, clarity and thoroughness of submitted documents, and presentation and presentation of the paper.

The first prize consists of accommodation and registration at the ANEMBE conference, a diploma, and €1,000 for the author chosen from among the other authors; the second prize: conference registration, a diploma, and €500 for the author chosen from among the other authors; and the third prize: conference registration and a diploma for the author chosen from among the other authors.
