Innovation is the "surest" method of overcoming the crisis and positioning Basque companies within a global world The Lehendakari visited the Ideko company in Elgoibar (Gipuzkoa). Whilst there, he acknowledged the need to "research in order to innovate" to ensure that the Basque economy grows and emerges stronger from the current economic situation. Thus, innovation is a transversal policy within the actions of all spheres of the Basque Government.
