The European network of industrialised regions Vanguard Initiative, of which the Basque Country is a founding partner, has met in Brussels to celebrate its tenth anniversary. The Vanguard Initiative has taken a qualitative step for its tenth birthday. Its political representatives have signed a Letter of Intent to launch the VInnovate Mechanism, a joint financing instrument to support the participation of Basque SMEs in innovative interregional projects with high levels of technological maturity (TRL).
