The 48th edition of the Vitoria-Gasteiz Jazz Festival offers a programme that explores the roots of jazz, tracing its origins and its fusion and influence across genres including soul, rock, and bossa nova. The programme also underlines its commitment to young talent, national jazz, and new expressions within this musical genre. Speaking at the launch of this year’s edition, the Deputy Mayor emphasised that the festival places the Basque Country on the international stage while helping to create spaces that foster new connections.
