What we do

Nos corresponden las siguientes funciones y áreas de actuación: promover Euskadi como un destino seguro, consolidando la imagen de calidad, diversidad y riqueza de nuestros recursos. Potenciar el comercio impulsando la profesionalización, digitalización y modernización del sector, así como su adaptación a los nuevos hábitos de consumo. Y trabajar en la protección de las personas consumidoras y usuarias, a través del estímulo a las buenas prácticas de las empresas, de la sensibilización de las personas consumidoras en un consumo responsable y de la formación e información continuadas. Así fomentaremos una sociedad más madura y concienciada que cuente con herramientas para la defensa de sus derechos.

Sonia Pérez Ezquerra, Tourism basque Minister, has presented the routes of "The silence of the white city".
New tourism landing page to promote routes related to the trilogy scenarios. In the last ten months the tourism portal has experienced significant growth in the international marchets with increases such as those of the French market, 17% or the German, with 25%. One out of every four visitors to the Basque Country is motivated in their travel by novels, films or books. The Minister for Tourism, Trade and Consumer Affairs, Sonia Pérez Ezquerra, has introduced the new landing page of the tourism portal  with the Deputy Mayor of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, Maider Etxebarria.
